WHAT IS SLIP FREE FLOOR?
SLIP FREE FLOOR is a clear, liquid treatment that adds additional friction or "grip" to slippery / wet surfaces to make them safer to walk on. It is environmentally safe and easy to use.
HOW DOES SLIP FREE FLOOR WORK?
All-natural materials such as concrete, ceramic, granite, terrazzo, quarry tile, slate, porcelain tile and bathtubs have a natural void. The larger the void, the more slip-resistant the surface of that material will be because the void creates a tread for you to walk on.
Additionally, when surfaces are coated to create a shine finish (for example, ceramic or glazed tile, porcelain) the void is greatly diminished (the coating can fill in the natural void up to 70%). When dry, the filled void goes unnoticed. However, when the surface is wet, the water fills in the remaining 30% creating a more slippery floor.
SLIP FREE FLOOR treats the surface of your floor or fixture by bringing back the natural void in the surface material. When a floor or bathtub is wet, SLIP FREE FLOOR you will help you remain surefooted!
Where Should I Use (and not use) SLIP FREE FLOOR
Use SLIP FREE FLOOR on slippery surfaces made of tile (e.g. ceramic, porcelain), Quarry, Terrazzo, Concrete in locations such as bathrooms, showers, tubs, pools, spas, garages, kitchen, walkways, entryways and more.
DO NOT use on wood, marble, granite, colored/stamped concrete, acrylic or like surfaces.
